For more than two decades, Shelly Danz has been the energetic force behind imaginative Atlanta-based events, from large-scale soirées to intimate gatherings. She channels her expertise, passion, and finesse into Atlanta Party Connection, celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2025.
Atlanta Party Connection produces the twice-yearly Atlanta Wedding Extravaganza, the South’s most beautiful wedding event, offering extravagant inspiration and experiences for engaged couples and their wedding parties. Constantly evolving to support both attendees and exhibitors, the show is proudly inclusive of all couples, ensuring everyone feels welcomed and celebrated.
Atlanta Party Connection also produces the Atlanta Bar and Bat Mitzvah Expo, connecting families with top event professionals to bring milestone celebrations to life while promoting volunteerism and community engagement.
Shelly’s commitment to fostering a thriving event industry extends far beyond shows. Atlanta Party Connection hosts regular networking events and professional development workshops to support event professionals as they grow their businesses. As president of WIPA Atlanta (Wedding Industry Professionals Association), awards co-chair of the Allie Awards that recognizes excellence in the live events industry in Georgia, and education director for Wedding Show Producers International (WSPI), Shelly creates and promotes programs that inspire creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
